Where do lessons take place?
In my dedicated music studio in my home in Woodford Bridge.
It is a 20 minute walk or 5 minute bus from Woodford station, on the Central line.
Do I need my own instrument to start with?
Yes, you will need an instrument with which to practise between lessons.
Do I have to buy any books?
Yes, following the first lesson I will advise which book to purchase for use in lessons.
What if I need to cancel or rearrange a lesson?
If possible, given 24 hours notice, I will rearrange the lesson for another time.
If the lesson cannot be rearranged, no refund will be given.
No refund will be given for lessons missed with no notice.
Can we take exams?
Yes, if we decide they will be useful.
While exams may be useful to provide a target and a sense of achievement, I am a believer that musical education shouldn’t just be a series of exam preparations, and lessons will be much broader than exam curricula.
